Black Screen in Placeshifter

Hello,

I'm trying SageTV for the first time and after having some issues getting the trial version (v6) on Windows up and running, I have a question about the Linux Placeshifter.

I can start the Placeshifter and everything works fine, but when I watch TV, the screen will start, then go black when the words TRIAL appear. I noticed on my MediaMVP that the words appear in the picture randomly.

Is the Linux version supposed to go black or is the picture supposed to stay up?

I'm running on an older laptop (Dell C600) with Ubuntu Edgy.
