Several NewB Questions, Help Please!

Hi, I just installed SageTV and SageTV client on 2 machines. After spending 10 hours to get it work, now I think it's functional. I still have some multipath issue to solve.

1. How do I quickly exit (close) SageTV from the full screen?
2. Can the client play AVI files in the server?

Thanks in advance.

1. With the default UI (user interface), I don't think you can. You do have some options, there is a plugin that will let you add in a menu option to shut down Sage from the main menu, or you can change to an alternate UI that has an "OFF" button built in, like SageMC, http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17979 .

2. IF the AVI files are in the server, or mapped where the server can see them, your client should be able to play them as well.

edit: Here is the link to the Exit Sage plugin, http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15384 , but it looks like it has been built into nielm's new dynamic menu plugin, http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13527 . IF you use the default UI, the dynamic plugin is very nice to have.
