SageTV v6 Nirvana

I beta tested the heck out of v5 when I was single, but now that WAF applies, I waited on this one. Thanks to all the testers. I installed v6 at 1700 and was completely tweaked and set up at 1930. This included a completely fresh install of 6 using 2 PVR500's and an HDHR + lineups, re-ordering and creating new menus. The usual tricks applied, like setting AC3Filter to "Prefer Other..." and making sure DECCHECK still had nVIDIA as default. The Wiz.bin conversion took about 120 seconds (I started in app mode, not service). Nielm's Dynamic Menu, Info Popup, IMDB, and JB's MiniGuide went in fine. Everything imported properly (TV, Vids, Pics, Music, and DVD's)...and played fine. DVD's from the tray play fine. Sling server is next. Thanks to all.

Nah...I'm one of those wierdos that actually likes the stock UI

Besides, I'm only in the UI long enough to pick some content

I also like the stock UI. I just use the Dynamic Menus to do some minor rearranging.

Same here. SageMC has some terrific features and looks great, but every time I try it I always find something I don't like or a quirk I can't live with. I've had some really odd problems with SageMC that no one else seems to experience that range from slight annoyances to being practically unusable. For many it seems to work perfectly, but I've never been that lucky. I've always taken the easy way out and just gone back to the default stv.

I started with MC then got hooked. Its not even the design I like, I just got so used to some of the small features and the navigation that i fumble around in the stock.

The wiz.bin file contains your favorites and watched history so you really want to be sure to have a good backup copy in case something happens.
