V6 New Intall Problem
Hi All,
I just installed V6 (dual tuner card bundle from Sage) but when I start Sage, it has a problem. It starts but just shows a bunch of colored lines in the Sage window (As if you are trying to display a higher resolution than your monitor/video card supports). The card seems to have installed just fine (Hardware says it is working perfectly). XP Pro, 2500+ Athalon XP, 512 ram, Geforce 6600 Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Russ |

Check that your video card drivers and/or DirectX are up to date. You can try disabling SageTV's use of 3D Acceleration by shutting down SageTV, then set this line in sage.properties:
ui/accelerated_rendering=false There is an option for this in the UI, at Setup -> Detailed Setup -> Advanced if you want to enable it later. - Andy

Updated the video drivers, installed Directx 9.0c and changed the line in sage.properties Still does the same thing.
Any other ideas please? Thanks Russ |

Installed an earlier version 5.sumthin sumthin and it did the same thing, edited the line in sage.properties and it worked. Tried upgrading to version 6 and the colored lines came back.
Any thoughts? Thanks Russ |
