wierd lockup
i have trial version installed on my p4 3.0ghz with 4 500 gig drives and 1gig of ram.
here what it seems to do after about a hour i can't change channels nothing it like all menu's dissappear i tried almost every thing . heap size is 110mb and odd thing is i hit cltr alt delete is is only 333/1024 free. anyone know what i can do?

I've been going through the same thing, along with other glitches. I installed the latest Java version and it seemed to run better at first, but now menus are disappearing, channel numbers in the guide are missing,etc etc. Guess Sagetv is not for me.
Even got a new GeForce videocard and it is doing the same thing.

the pc i am running sage on is a dual p4 2.8ghz, 2 gig ram, ati all in one wonder ve,2x dvb-s (twinhan 102g) ,msi geforce fx 5200 , all on a 109 inch screen and a 52 inch wide screen threw hemi.
mtsage part good but something else is wrong with sage. menu's dissapear after a few hours,channel number,epg,main menu's,etc..etc.. i have java 1.4.2_11 so not java and sage is stock. Last edited by earth-ox; 12-29-2006 at 09:49 PM.
