help needed playing dvd folders

On server pc I can play import videos dvd movies
or play vob files of same movies

on MEDIAMVP I can play vob files through "browse media files"
but can not play dvd folder (imported videos) that I could play
individual vob files
(also can't seem to select dvd titles using mdeiamvp remote)

on placeshifter I can play vob files through "browse media files"
but can not play dvd folder (imported videos) that I could play
individual vob files (error -19) no media player found

Help!

DVD support on the MVP was added in V6, if you've got V6 make sure you've rebooted the MVP to load the new software (unplug it).

The Placeshifter doesn't support DVD.

Finally got mediamvp to play dvd.
(volume low)
placeshifter can play vob
But that brings me back to how do I get sagetv to play large vob files?
Seems to top out at 1hr 16min 57 sec per vob file.

I don't know if it can, I think the DVD spec limits VOB sizes to 1GB, lots of players don't handle large vobs well (I assume) because of that.
