Cool retro gaming videos on Google Video

www.tasvideos.com is a website full of immensely entertaining videos of people using emulator tricks to absolutely destroy old video games. It’s usually a pain to watch them because you either need slowly download the videos from bittorrent or have the correct ROM and emulator combination to play it back from the controller input file.

Well, it turns out that they’ve also started posting their videos on Google video and you can access most of them by searching “NESVIDEOS” through SageTV’s Google Video interface. Definitely worth a look if you’re into that kinda thing.

Very cool!

Cool seeing Super Mario Brothers completed in about 5 minutes.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a Zork runthrough....

Sounds cool!

I'll have to check it out when I get home from work.

Did any of you guys ever see "Quake done Quicker?"

This group of guys completed the original Quake in like 9 minutes, or so, I believe. They used rocket jumps, grenade hops and all sorts of tricks to speed through every single map. It was truly a sight to see. I'll have to see if I can dig up my old copy I had of the video.

these Google Videos (well, not these specific ones - but all of them) are killing me!

I didn't get to sleep until 1am last, wasting time watching tons of videos.

And yeah, I did just upgrade to version 6 yesterday.
