Question Sage Time Off

I just installed 6.0.19 server on my "new" office system. My intent is to make it my prototype Sage server setup to pre-stage upgrades to my family room. So, I have a clean new Vista Ultimate install, an Nvidia 7950 GX2 display card (drivers provided by Vista), a PVR 250 card (again drivers provided by Vista) and 2 gigs of RAM. I installed 6.0.19 as a clean fresh first install. I have it pointing to my NAS RAID storage for media (Music, Photos and TV Recordings). After the install setup I was able to see the program guide, but noticed my clock time and date in Sage was exactly 8 hours ahead ... so at 10:00pm on Saturday, January 6th, at the top right corner of the Sage menus it said 6:00am on Sunday, January 7th?? That of course messed up the EPG and when I watched live TV I'd get the appropriate show, but its metadata was for 8 hours later.

In the Detailed Setup I have the "Sync System Clock with SageTV Server" Enabled.

I’ve never had this happen before ... And BTW, my Windows System Clock shows up correctly. Am I missing something simple?

Why is the time off? How do I get it fixed? Any ideas?

Oh ... the only other thing I did I've not done before it configure it for Placeshifter, but don't expect that should be part of this issue.

Thanks, T.

I believe you need Java version 1.6 with Vista to fix this.

Thanks Bob ... Is there a link to the right download? Went to the Sun site and found several versions .... SE, EE, ME, etc. ME says runtime, but talks more about consumer products.

I also see reference to version 6 ... not 1.6 ... are they the same?

Thanks, T.

Same thing. You want this:

Java SE Runtime version 6
