CES Goodies
Here's a thread to highlight some of the HTPC goodies we find out about at this year's CES!
First one that caught my eye: the PC2TV EchoView FM. Looks like this could be worked in as an extender of some sort?? This thread already in progress (cable cards). Those are the most exciting ones I could find, but please post here if anything else catches your eye!

How is this better than the MVP?
"The "codex agnostic" device will wirelessly receive video (up to 720p they claim) at 30 frames per second over 802.11g" I don't really know anything about HD, but that doesn't look to be it.... |

Guess I didn't think too much about the implications of 720p... but it does seem like a step in the right direction.

I'm seeing a whole bunch of HD Network video players from CES in the news - hopefully one of them will be able to get turned into a SageTV extender!

God I hope so (sage HD extender).
I'm still without cable. I have an attic antenna and get a decent analog pic, but I really need HD. My new theater room is dying without it. |
