Tuner Card Suggestions

I was wondering what tuner cards are they easist to get working with the linux version. I am looking at trying to get about 6 tuners running (3HD-3SD). I am looking at the PVR500, and then maybe some sort of dual HD & SD card combo. The other two HD Tuners would more than likely be individual cards as i have not found any Dual HD tuner cards.

Thanks
Jaye

Speaking from my own experience I would stick with the cards listed at the top of http://www.sage.tv/linuxOEMinstall.html so you should be fine with a PVR500. SageTV uses the IVTV module for capture so I'm guessing any card supported by it should technically work. As for HD cards there has been some confusion over whether or not SageTV Linux currently supports ASTC/QAM/DVB cards - the infrastructure seems to be included in the server software however, it does not seem to be quite complete - Hopefully we should see support for these cards soon though. Therefore you should maybe start with a PVR500 for SD and then look to include a HD card later.

Thanks Neil

That is what have decided to do. I was following along with the debate about what HD features were supported, and that is what lead to some of my confusion.
