Unable to get to the SY-VIA-150 BIOS

I just picked this controller card up this week and I am unable to get my motherboard to allow me to boot to this card’s BIOS. Is there something special I need to set so that I am able to boot to the card’s BIOS? My motherboard is the MSI 975X Platinum V.2.

I never have actually installed controller cards before so I'm not sure what I am misising here. But I am tryign to add more drives to my media PC so I need more SATA connections.
