Transcoding to iPOD.... too long

Anyone having issues with how long it's taking to transcode to ipod?

In the v6 betas, it was taking about 30 minutes or so to transcode a 1 hour standard definition show to ipod Good quality.

Now, it is taking almost three hours on the very same machine.

I have tried re-booting, etc to no avail.

I realize the AMD Athlon 2400+ I use isn't the fastest thing on the planet, but I'm just trying to figure out why it's taking SO much longer.

It's probably doing a 2-pass encode on it....you can disable that in the properties file for now (for 6.1 it doesn't do 2-pass for iPod conversions anymore, so it'll be a moot point when it comes out)
