Sagetv Client don't start on Mini-ITX

Hi
Im trying to configure a totaly silent SageTV Client.
It's based on a Via Epia M Mini-ITX mainboard. I use a 2GB compact flash card connected to the IDE bus as harddrive. The read/write speed on the flash card is 20MB/s. Installing Windows 2000SP4 works fine.
I have also installed DirectX 9c and java.
When I install SageTV Client I get an error message "failed to register Psiscd.dll". I can click Ignore and the installation finishes. But when I dubbel click the SageTV icon on the desktop the screen turns black and the system freezes.
I allso tried Windows 98SE and got the same problem. (The screen didn't turn black but the computer froze). Is my configuration so wrong?
I have been running Beyond TV on this motherboard with no problem.

Can you help me?
Andreas

Have you tried...

Have you tried to manually register the dll using regsvr32?
(ie: regsvr32 filename.dll from a command prompt)

Thanks! but....

...it didn't help.

FYI. There is no problem playing SageTV recorded material in the Windows Media Player.

No luck

Hi

Today I reinstalled Win98SE on a brand new 2,5" 40GB drive. Just to see if it is the Compact Flash drive that is causing the problem.
But it's still the same problem.

Is it shure that SageTV Client should work on Win98SE??

I like the fast boot of Win98 and I don't whant to trubble my weak system with WinXP if possible.

Please Help!
/Ansy

I am seeing a same/similar issue.

WinME, SageTVClient_V6_0_19Setup.exe

Tried with directX9 and directX8, same results:

Quote:
Error 1904 Module C:\ProgramFiles\SageTV\Common\PsisDecd.dll failed to register
HRESULT -2147024776. Contact your support personnel
I plan to try a quick install of a copy of WinXP I have to see if the issue goes away or if its a hardware issue (its an old PC from a friend being resurrected. Asus A7V133 mobo, AMD Athlon, ATI All-In-One Radeon AGP graphics (tuner not being used, this is client only.) I hate to spend $100 to upgrade to WinXP since all I want this box for is a sage TV client.

Regards,
Steve
