720p hd programming with black bars on 16x9 tv
Hey Guys,

I have a strange issue. When I view my recorded HDTV (or watch live tv) I get black vertical bars on the top and bottom of the picture. My TV is a 16x9 LCD HD TV. Am I supposed to get these black vertical bars? If not, can anyone give me suggestions as to what is going on?

Figured it out... was using sagemc with 4x3. When I switched over to 16x9, I didn't realize had to go back into the original sage stv to change resolution.
