FF on Xvid imported media not working anyone found a fix?

Hi All,

Did anyone ever find a fix/resolution to the whole FF issue when playing back XVID videos? Specifically I seem to keep encountering videos which cannot use fast forward (jump ahead) but can be paused and rewound.

There doesnt seem to be a pattern and Ive checked and found its specific to sage - meedio (older version using same codecs/same system) isnt effected.

One confirmed file has the following specs:
Xvid Codec, 25fps, 640x352
MP3 Audio, 48000khz, 124kbs

Is reclock a new addon for sage? (sorry im not familiar with the name..)

This has been occuring for me since I installed Sage 6 back in its early betas. I know other folks have encountered this, Im just not sure if any one figured out a solution.

Try changing this property in the sageclient.properties file while sage isn't running:
mplayer/use_for_all_mpeg4_playback=false
