Playing Divx files from Sage? BLank Screen

I have some AVI Divx files that I want to play on my Sage Box. I have installed the Divx software and can play the video fine within the Divx Player. But when I try to play it within Sage, I get audio but a blank screen.

Is there some settings I need to modify to get this to work or am I just missing something?

This is version 5 if that matters.

Do they play in WMP. If not, then your system is using the wrong codec by default.

I've never understood how to change your default codecs but at least you can diagnose the problem.

For what it's worth I use ffdshow rather than the DivX codec as I find it's just generally better.

Nope. VMP can't play it either. I get audio and jsut the visualization crap. I even reinstalled Divx and it still doesn't work. Any idea how or what I need to change to make it work right? Never had this happen before after I installed Divx.

Well I installed ffdshow and now everything works. Must have overwritten whatever it was that it was trying to use and now it's working. Ah well.
