You can change the property setting manually. Shut down sage and open sage.properties (or sageclient.properties) and set the following property:

Thanks, you're a gentleman and a scholar. The 'back' sound was really beginning to get on my nerves. 'whup'

I agree. It probably wouldn't be too bad except that it seems to be much louder than the other effects. Maybe someday I'll have time to hunt down some better (read less annoying) sounds.

I didn't even know this had sounds, I don't get any sounds. If all sounds are turned of on my PC would this cause me not to have sound?

Edit: I found it and found I don't like sound effects. Also found a bunch of other options I didn't know existed, note to self, scroll menus.
