SageMC Help! Can't scroll, pause, resume, etc.

I am having trouble watching recorded shows with SageMC. For instance, if I pause a recording it will not resume. If I click the unpause button it only skips a single frame at a time but remains paused. Also I can't scroll through the recording. And how can I restart a recording from the beginning? SageMC seems to want to resume where I left off but in some cases I'd rather start at the beginning. Switching to a different recording remedies some of these problems but not all. And it really shouldn't be so tricky. I must be missing something.

This is a feature, 'Pause' will advance to the next frame if the playback is already paused. To resume playback, simply press 'Play' again

So you are saying ffwd/rwd doesn't work ? Which Sage commands did you map to the buttons you are using for that ?

And how can I restart a recording from the beginning? SageMC seems to want to resume where I left off but in some cases I'd rather start at the beginning.

Press 'Stop', and select "Restart" in the Stop dialog

If I want to start a partially watched show from the beginning, I set and then clear the watched status (Set/Clear Watched button on left). This resets the show to start from the beginning. I don't use the stop popup, so this is the best method for me. HTH

OK, I feel stupid now. I had partially set up my remote control so the keyboard commands were not working. All I had to do was use the remote to pause, play, stop, etc. and everything works as it should.
