DVD playback in SageTV media center getting PAL/NTSC wrong?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this: when I play DVDs from the media center, it appears to be converting on-the-fly from PAL (the actual format of the DVD) to NTSC. I am pretty convinced of this because I've done my fair share of format conversion and I'm familiar with the choppy/squished look of quick and dirty PAL-->NTSC conversion. I'm using the Nvidia purevideo encoders. There are no errors, just choppy/squished playback.

I think it's likely that it isn't region code related, since my DVD drive was purchased in Europe and this is the first DVD I've ever tried to play in it. But that's always a possibility. SageTV is doing PAL correctly everywhere else.
