Changeing remote functions on MVP?

I just started using the MVP as my main viewing device, and I HATE the remote functions.

I'd like to make at least 1 button into a rewind to beginning.

I'd also like to be able to be able to get it to skip 30 seconds on the first FF, and 150 on the second, like the main program can.

Is there anywhere (docs, online, etc) that shows how to reprogram the buttons?

Go into Setup-Detailed Setup just like on any other PC client and go to the Commands menu and link any button to any command. Go to Setup-Detailed Setup-Customize and change the ff times. It's all in the manual.

Not exactly the answer to your question, but the multi-function stop STVI includes a 'restart from beginning' feature. I really like being able to get to stop, delete, and restart from one press of the 'stop' key.

Thanks a bunch both of you. I used the "multifunction_stop_import" for the jump to beginning, and the "reprogram remote buttons" to get a page up/down in the guide.

For page up/page down in the guide I just use the volume or channel + - buttons (can't remember which). No need to separate buttons.

Right, and this isn't only in the guide, but in all screens with multiple pages.
