Placeshifter has java.lang error - java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError
I've installed Placeshifter v6.0.18 on a Win98SE laptop. My first time using it under 98. I first made sure DirectX was 9.0c, and have tried Java v1.5.0.06 and v1.5.0.11. When I launch Placeshifter, I get the Java Exception error: "java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:\Program Files\SageTV\Placeshifter\SageTVWin32.dll: A device attached to the system is not functioning". See attached screen shot of the java.lang error.
At the same time, the first Placeshifter window does open, displaying my LAN sage server in the list. If I click the error's okay button, Placeshifter closes. If I ignore the error, and launch the LAN server connection, Placeshifter connects, but then the menu won't respond to mouse or keyboard commands.
Some info from Java about the error is here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/...LinkError.html
Setting the PATH to include the DLL directory, as suggested here didn't do the trick either.
Any suggestions?
