Issue with MVP soft power off/on in 6.1.3

I am having an issue with the 6.1.3 RC where the Soft Power Off/On doesn't seem to work correctly with my MVP extenders.

I can use the power button to perform a soft power off and that works with no problem. However, when I try to hit the power button to perform a soft power on, the MVP does not respond. The red light blinks quickly, but the MVP does not start up. I have to do a hard reboot to get the MVP going again.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I can say that I DON'T see this with 6.1.3.

The obvious things don't make sense:

Button broken (as the button works)
Batteries (as the button works)
MVP sensor (as it turns off)

I see a somewhat similar behavior with my MVP. Most of the times switching it on and off works fine. However, sometimes it turns on, shows the main menu and switches itself off completely. After I press the power button again, it turns back on going through the entire "boot" cycle (Sage splash screen etc). It never did something like this before I upgraded top 6.1.13.

I have a similar problem: after soft-powering off, the first time I hit the power-on button, the red light flashes it, but it doesn't power on.

Every single time, I have to hit the power-on again, and this time it turns on.

Not a deal breaker, so I haven't filed a but report....but it's there.

I've noticed the same thing. Like you said, it's annoying but hasn't been a big enough deal to bother with a bug report.

Yeah, my problem is similar, but subsequent attempts to power on do not work. I think in my first post I said that this is happening on all my extenders (2). Upon further research, it only happens on one of my two extenders. One extender powers on and off with no problem. The other extender will not power back on. I've tried unplugging the MVP for an hour or so to clear out anything resident, but that did not seem to help.

New RC 6.1.4 fixed my extender power on/off issues. Not sure if it was just dumb luck or good planning, but I am happy
