end of dvd movie (on HD) locks up server

Playing a dvd from a mediamvp is fine except if I let it
play to the end. last frame freezes and server is locked up.
dvd folder is on M: hard drive
If I play on server the play never terminates but it does not lockup
the server.
Help!

I am sorry but I did not see a solution.
However I just found out if I add menus to my home movie dvd files
Sagetv jumps back to menu at end of play.
I don't need/want menus

This is how Sage's DVD playback works -- it follows the instructions on the DVD to go back to the title menu when the movie is finished.

BUT!!!
I just want to play like any mpg/avi file.
one click to select from list and play then when done, bring up list again.

Did you try the latest beta version?

I have not tried new beta but will try as well as new install.
I thought I had used this setup before and it worked but
now not sure. I think I converted everything to mpeg2
but I liked the listing with icons for each video for selection.
I play dvd with no menus before on pc and players and they
just repeat. That would be ok.
