Recordings missing
Kind of a new user here...
I had to reinstall version 6. Now that I have, it does not see the previous recordings. I have the recording directory pointed to the correct location. If I record a new show, it saves it in the correct location and shows up in the SageTV Recordings window. But the previous recordings that are there in the dir are not showing up in the SageTV Recordings window. Make sense? What am I missing??? Thanks!

When you resintalled, it sounds like you removed your old wiz.bin or installed to a different directory. Wiz.bin is the database file that stores all the recoridng info, EPG data, Favorites, and so on. Your configuration settings are stored in sage.properties.
If you still have your old wiz.bin, close SageTV & copy it back into place. Of course, you'll then lose info on the latest recordings, but you'll get the info back for the old recordings. If you haven't used SageTV for very long, it may not be worth switching to the old wiz.bin. - Andy
