Greetings Friends....

I am using the plugin to remember the last place in the video.... but.... when I leave off a movie in the middle the only way to start the video from the beginning seems to be by rewinding - the family finds it ironic that I actually have to rewind like a VCR with "all this technology". I must admit a chuckle myself..

Anyone have any thoughts? Would be much appreciated...

SageTV now remembers watched positions for imported media w/o a plugin. If fully watched, it will start over at the beginning (or at least there is an option for that in Detailed Setup) - you could use the Watched command to either set it fully watched or clear Watched before restrating playback. You can also use the Timescroll command + REW2 to go all the way back to the beginning. There is also probably a plugin or 2 to modify the FF/REW behavior.

You can also use nielm's multifunction stop STVi. Click stop then select restart (plays video from the beginning).
