Seek issues with HDHR recorded files

I have a HDHomeRun and two hauppauge PVR-150 tuners. I'm having problems with seeking in the HDHR recordings. The seek doesn't advance/reverse the right number of seconds. I'm not sure if it's the same incorrect number every time or if it changes each time I press the button. It seems like it's a different number of seconds depending on whether I'm going forward or back.

An example of this... if I hit the 10 second reverse and then the 10 second forward buttons in succession, I am not left at the same point in the recording.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Recordings off the PVR-150s are fine. I am running the latest released version of sage.

Thanks!

I see the same behavior. It is especially annoying when using comskip. I believe this is a problem with the timeline produced by the HDHomeRun unit.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I think SageTV added a feature recently to correct the timeline of recordings that use BDA drivers. However, the HDHomeRun does not currently use the BDA driver, so it does not benefit from this feature. Apparently Silicondust has been talking with SageTV about moving over to the BDA driver, but I haven't heard anything in several weeks. I am hoping this will happen soon, and it will clear up the timeline problem.

In the meantime, you might want to copy you post over to the Silicondust support forums, and see if we can get some support there to have them look into the issue.

Me too!

Yes, I too am having the same problem. It is causing issues with the WAF. Have either of you heard anymore about this? I will check the silicondust forums as well.

I have this issue with recordings from the A180 also. There was an improvement in the later 6.1.* releases, but the seek is still not as good as SDTV recordings.
