Recording schedule not filling

I have had a problem recently with my recording schedule. I have Sage running 24/7 on a dedicated box. The last week I noticed there was nothing in my recording schedule, but there were episodes it should be recording. I quit Sage and started it back up and the recording schedule filled up. This happened again last night. Any idea why I would need to restart Sage to make it schedule recordings?

Worf,

Are you running a multiple-tuner setup? If so send an e-mail to us at support@freytechnologies.com for a fix.

If not, what happens when you schedule a manual recording, does it appear in the recording schedule?

I am using a single PVR 350. I tried doing the manual recording the first time this happened and it showed up on the schedule and recorded.

i have seen the same thing, though i am not sure that stopping and restarting has fixed things... what i end up doing is to run through the recording schedule looking for missing items, then selecting those items that SHOULD be recording as favourites to be specifically chosen for recording...

oh, my hardware is a pvr250

Some times the recording schedule will not list a show if it is on a few days out or there are possible conflicts. As it been recording your First-Run favorites even though they are not being listed in the recording schedule?

I haven't really let it try, but I actually had an empty recording schedule on the evening something was supposed to tape. In that case I set it to manually record and it then showed up in the schedule. It recorded. Later I checked the schedule again and it was empty so I restarted Sage and the schedule filled up.

Please please please send me this fix soon before my shows start at 8EST tonight. I can't record anything that I manually schedule. (which I do for everything) I just emailed support@freytechnologies.com a little while ago.

Oh and SageTV.exe has since been running at 97-99% cpu usage.

I had something interesting happen last night. I checked my recording schedule and saw five or six programs scheduled, including Star Trek Enterprise on Saturday. I looked through some other things in the Sage menus, program guides, etc. and then went back to the recording schedule. Star Trek was gone! At the time it was recording another program so I waited until it was finished and restarted Sage. Once again Star Trek Enterprise was on the schedule for Saturday. Does that shed on light on the situation?
