Linux Server Windows Client DVD Playback

I have a linux server that does not do playback at all. I have setup a Windows Client and I want to playback a DVD from the server. I initially got the error that it could not find the path which I discovered I needed to have the UNC path specified in order to get it to work. I created another share on the server and have added the path as a UNC path in the import Directory lists, however now when I try go into the import videos it does not see anything available but if i move it back to /var/media/videos it does see that file. Anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work?
