HVR-1600 Driver Install

I downloaded the zip file "hauppauge_cd_3.4b.zip" extracted it and then went to Device manager and clicked on HVR-1600 and clicked "Update Driver".

"Windows cannot find a driver more suitable than the one you have" message appears.

I do not want to run hwclear.exe because it will clear all my drivers and I have 3 cards. Where is the driver found (exactly)?

Any one run into this problem?

Once you extract the contents, there is a folder called "driver" inside the original folder. The drivers are there. I recently updated my drivers but I used HCWClear since the 1600 is the only Hauppage tuner I have. In your case, it's a tuff situation. One question. When you originally installed the 1600, were you prompted to load the drivers? If so, try uninstalling the card in windows only and then rebooting. It's worth a try.
