The official, "SageTV is working well for me!" thread

I just got my first capture card (HVR1600) since the original ATI TV Wonders came out. I tried other media centers and they all sucked, of coarse they were free. My friend kept bragging about Sage but I didnt want to pay but I went ahead and downloaded the demo. I started configuring it on Saturday and got it fully functional today after finally getting the blaster to work with my STB on my lunch break. I set it to record 2 shows at the same time, one on my digital channels and one from my STB. If they are there when I get home from work then I will totally agree that Sage is the greatest thing ever and I will purchase it as soon as my new OS is in and installed. Now all I have to do is find some good add-ons and figure out all the cool stuff.

I've been using SageTV since version 2.x (still running 4.x). Haven't had any issues and I use the svideo out on a Hauppauge 350 (but no overlay). My 10 year old daughter uses it without problems, but still haven't gotten the wife to try it. *sigh* She will watch the results though.
