Becuases of that screenshot you posted if it only a few channel then there nothing can about it.
Besure to run Hauppauge Primary Tool and change the overlay mode something that helps.

I guess I can't make a funny

I get a good signal level on all the channels.. you can always tell when your going from an SD QAM channel to an HD channel as the channel changing speed will go up or down.

Not getting any channels now?

Hello!

The main reason I got the 1600 was to get QAM. I have an older system Dell P4 2.4 1 G ram. At first I was under thew original XP Home. I could scan Analog cable from Cox. Sometimes with the latest Driver I could get QAM HD NBC, ABC bout none of the regular free Network HD.

I wanted to start of clean. I set up an array and installed a virgin XP Pro with all updates. Guess what? Now after installing, It asks to scan for channels and I get 0 analog found. You can guess I get no QAM either.

After installing some other MP2 filters (Intervideo and Cyberlink) WinTV still can't scan any channels but Sage gets all my analog.

I even went back to the pre QAM drivers that cam with the card and nothing scans. So I do hope Sage supports QAM because WinTV doesn't seem to be an option on my system.

Any thoughts?

JC

It seems to be here (in beta at least)

It would seem Sage 6.2.5 has QAM support for HVR-1600.
Now I just need the time to test it all out.
