Sage wont play uncompressed aac audio

Of course I always have been as I have all my classical music in Apple Lossless.

Add me to the group that wishes SageTV supported ALAC. My music was in FLAC for my MythTV, but I want to convert to ALAC so I can use iTunes as my primary music player. SageTV, like MythTV, has a decent audio player, but the navigation simply isnt as user friendly as iTunes. I just wish iTunes would support FLAC

still hoping for ALAC support in SageTV someday, until then it is still iTunes.

but i cannot seem to get it to work - even with a couple of "Imported Media Scans" none of my ALAC music shows up. Does something need to be enabled? or am i missing something?


Support of ALAC is an excellent thing for me, and i'm glad to see it happen. Thanks Sage team!

It worked for me last night, but the song I played cut out about 45sec before the end of the song. At least they've begun to get it working though.
