Confused about Sagetv extenders and customization?

Hey guys,
Just curious, when sagetv finally does release those HD extenders, would it be possible to still edit them and use sagemc ?? How would one do this, and how does one do this with the current sage extenders?

All SageTV UIs use STV files, so for any extender, you would load the STV you want to use there. And, you don't need to import all the STVi plugins on each placeshifter/extender -- just do it once on the server & any remote client can then select the resulting customized STV. Note: SageTV Client loads STVs from its own install location on its own PC, so there you would have to install/import any customizations for each client.
