MVP won't play WMA's

I'm stumped. What am I missing? It plays mp3's just fine, displays jpegs, streams mpeg2, plays ripped DVD's. But my whole CD collection is ripped to wma lossless, and if I can't access it, the value of the MVP is greatly reduced.
