Suggestion to implement functionality similar to Wii transfer

I am the proud owner of a Wii and recently stumbled upon the very interesting Wii Transfer application. In a nutshell, the software runs on your server and allows you to easily to navigate to a website on your Wii to be able to stream music and photos to your Wii.

Thoughts on potentially including similar functionality in SageTV (or a 3rd-party plugin)?

Sounds like a Placeshifter for the Wii. It's too bad Wii is limited to WiFi G and not N and doesn't have HDMI output. You gotta love that Wii form factor though.

I've used Orb.com to view videos, pictures and music from my SageTV server on the Wii. Videos is very poor quality because it transcoded to Flash 7, but the audio works pretty well.

I'd love to see a Placeshifter client for the Wii.

Now that I think about it I need to try browsing to my Sage web server and see what happens when I try to stream.

Rick...
