High CPU usage - when is the fix coming?

I've seen the thread which describes my problem with 6.1.9 exactly:

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...t=25787&page=3

But when will the promised fix be delivered? Restarting twice or three times a day is getting old.

Alternatively, can anyone post a link to the sageTV.exe file for 6.0.19? I'd rather not reinstall Sage twice.

Thanks!

Have you installed the latest beta? 6.2.4 does not have this issue.

In addition to the above link to the beta: in case you've missed it, there's a whole forum section for SageTV Beta Test Software. There is quite a bit of info about the latest beta there.

Actually I am having this problem with the beta. I noticed it last night after a day of my daughter watching CSI Miami in HD. Sage Service was running at 50% cpu usage (hypertreading is on, so it was using one full "virtual" processor). I turned on debug_logging this morning and will wait patiently for it to misbehave again before reporting the bug with log files.

There's actually a newer 6.1.9 that's posted now. So if you remove your current 6.1.9 install. Re-download it and then install again it'll fix the issue as well.

Thanks!

Thanks for the help, one and all. I will try the 6.1.9 fix.

(Shame about the reinstall though).
