MVP and recordings don't playback
Ever since I upgraded to 6.2.4 Sage recordings don't playback correctly on my MVP. They start to play then stop 1 or 2 seconds into playback. Everything else in 6.2.4 works and looks great and I'd like to keep it. Does anyone have ideas on how to fix this or troubleshoot?

I would suggest enabling debug logging in sage.properties & submit a bug report.
If someone else has run into something similar, maybe it would help for you to post info about the tuners & recording types you are having problems with. Maybe there is an issue transcoding the videos, if they aren't mpeg2. - Andy

I have seen a problem where files recorded using a HDHomeRun in 4:3 480i format would stop playing properly after about 1 or 2 minutes. Since most of my recordings are in this format, I originally thought it applied to all recordings. It was later that I discovered it was only the 4:3 format. This would occur 100% of the time when I had mmc/encoders/XXXXX/100/0/encode_digital_tv_as_program_stream=false. Support had me change the option to true. It still occurs most of the time but is no longer 100%.

Thanks for the input. What's bizarre is that Live TV works but recordings of the same program don't.
I have a digital cable STB with firewire only.. no tuner. Channel changing, SD and HD, everything goes through the firewire. I haven't had time to jack with it too much since I have a new problem. Time Warner Dallas has decided to start 5C ing everything in sight. Now I have to convince the wife that SageTV is still better than cable DVR boxes.
