Still Higher Than Expected CPU Usage in 6.2.4

I mentioned in another post that my system is pretty basic: an Athlon XP 2000+ CPU and 512 MB RAM running Windows XP Pro.

However, since upgrading to version 6 of Sage (now 6.2.4 beta), the CPU usage by SageTVService.exe is somewhere between 6%-21% of my CPU when the Sage interface is in standby. For newer CPU's this is probably not noticeable, but for my system it is enough to kick my CPU fan into a higher gear than previous versions of Sage. I don't understand what Sage could be doing that is using so much CPU? I've tried a lot of tweaks seen in these forums, but I think my issue must be different because nothing seems to affect this issue for me.
