Black bar on left and right side of the tv viewing area

I have a PVR 500 and SageTV up and running to my TV set via s-video but it seem that SageTV adds a black bar on the left and side of the tv viewing area.

When it showing SageTV menus it show full screen used corner to corner but when I am viewing an actual tv show, I am seeing a black bar added on left and right side of the screen and it about one inches wide on each side so I am losing 2 inches of viewable screen on my TV.

The black bar only appear when I am watching tv or watching a DVD via SageTV and I have fiddle everything I can think of to get the full screen length out of it.


Can anyone assist me on this? I am using GT 6600 nvidia card with s-video out to TV and also have VGA out to a computer monitor so I have a clearer view when making fine tuning but it is my plan to remove the monitor entirely once the fine tuning is done.

I wanted to add I know it's not my TV resolution or setting on nvidia becasue it show corner to corner desktop perfectly and I can see the black bars on left and right side in the Windowed SageTV viewer so it being added by SageTV itself.

I just checked out YourTube video and it showing no black bars at all so it only seem to be occuring in live tv or from PVR 500.

Any idea what causing SageTV to add the blackbar?
