Imported Video screen peeves

Greetings all.

I've waited long enough to air my peeves with the Imported Video screen (Sage v6.2)

1. Is there a way to prevent Sage from showing the file extension (.mpg, .avi, etc).
2. Is there a way to list only the files indicated as an import directory and not those in the SageTV Recordings directory?

Anything else from anybody?

Yes - remove all imported videos from your recording directories.

If a video is found in a recording dir & it isn't recognized as a recording, it gets imported. But, if you set the seeker/use_errant_dir=true property & if that property still happens to be valid, those files just get moved to the 'errant' subdirecotry of the recording dir instead... of course, you'll then have to remember to check that dir yourself from time to time.

You could probably use Studio to modify the display to your liking.

If not, maybe take a look at SageMC, it is already set up to not show the extension.

I did not know that. That is exactly what is happening. I lost my C: drive and along with it my Sage settings. I left the old recordings in the SageTVRecordings directory; they are the ones that appear as imported videos.

As for the files extensions, I'll try playing with Studio to get what I want.

Thanks for the help!
