That's a great question.

I wonder if someone could come up with a plug in to stream either one off of the net?

I subscribe and listen to it all the time on the net but not through Sage.

I have seen a few attempts to stream Sirius, however there is usualy an issue with the image verification component.

Over at mp3car.com the focus as been to integrate a hardware solution. Sirius makes a home tuner that is controled via RS-232 (Serial):

http://shop.sirius.com/edealinv/serv...dParentID=7870

So....for the price of the unit $89, $5/month additional fee and a little integration we could have a reliable solution that does not have the bandwith limitations of the internet players. To me it would be worth the extra cost.

I would be willing to provide a unit to someone who is capable of writing the integration.

Thoughts?

there is a yahoo widget that streams sirius quite nicely without the image varification. If someone could integrate something like that, that would be great! check it out here:

I have XM streaming on mine. I just use uXM (they have a uSirius too) to create a streaming link to each station I like. Then add those to the web radio plugin text file.

Does the web radio plugin work with the MVP/HD Etender? Or is it just the slimserver version that does not?

I am not sure how to integrate Sirius into Sage for the MVP. But to listen to Sirius, I use Stream_On (http://207.210.102.183/index.htm) to pick up the online radio and I just have a FM Stereo Transmitter hooked up to my computer. I got the Transmitter from the C Crane company (http://www.ccrane.com/radios/fm-tran...ansmitter.aspx). It works pretty well- I have my radio station throughout my house and get a few blocks of coverage in any direction.
