Unfortunately, I ordered 0.

I just can't bring myself to pay $56 shipping. Oh well...

Aloha,
Mike

Ouch....

You got me a little nervous about the shipping cost, so I check it out. Obviously it is because you are in Hawaii. UPS Ground would run me $12.47, so there are less expensive options for those in the lower 48.

132 now. That's over 1/40th of a million $$$

If anyone at Sage with executive authority is reading this, give our Hawaiian brother a break on the shipping! Such a valued member of the community shouldn't have to go without!

Agreed. I would even donate to the shipping fund. We need Mike's icons and graphics.

Thanks for the moral support guys.

I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and order one. I just have to think of it as part of the paradise tax.

Aloha,
Mike

Sweet! If it comes to that, I'll paint a big target on my roof.

I haven't ordered any yet. I'm waiting for the Server/Extender bundle.

And then, I only need 1 because we only have 1 TV in the house which was done on purpose.

Just chalk it up to all the money you're saving by not having to buy truckloads of heating oil or natural gas to heat your home this winter. In the midwest and east we're freezing out behinds off while you sip Mai Tai's on the beach!

Unfortunately I can't remember the last time I made it to the beach, or had a Mai Tai for that matter. Once you've lived here for a while, it's just like anyewhere else. (Only warmer. )

BTW, even though we don't have to pay for heating, our electricity is >$.25 / KWhr. It isn't uncommon for our electric bill to exceed $600/month in the summer.

Aloha,
Mike

Ok, the deed is done. I ordered one about an hour ago on my wife's credit card.

Good thing I did too. Every time I have checked, the 2nd day shipping charge has increased. It was $54 on Sunday night, $56 yesterday, and $60 this morning.

Aloha,
Mike

Interesting shipping prices...

I still have not been able to successfully place an order. I did notice exactly what you did regarding the shipping prices. The prices slowly rose as the day went on. Weird.

I guess it probably evens out then. Here in Ct we're just slightly less than 1/2 that per KWhr. My highest summer bill was just under $300 during a particularly hot month. Two window unit AC's running 24/7 for about 2 weeks straight as the temp was 90 or better with out typical summer 400% humidity.
In the last couple summers it's typically anywhere from $125 - $175 per month.

I just got an heating oil delivery a few minutes ago. Good thing I went with the buy ahead program at $2.59 this year! Today's daily price was $3.09. It took 155 gallons for one month, and that usage will go up in Jan/Feb most likely.

Mine arrives tommorrow.

And then starts collecting dust.

In preparation for my new toy, I bought the upgrade to version 6 and installed it on top of my current 5.0.4 installation. When I put the upgrade key in it says it is an upgrade key and asks for my original key (which I cannot find). At 3:30 Pacific Time yesterday I emailed Sage support to get the original key and they have not responded. With the "Trial" software running I tried to add the extender key and it will not take it. It also tells me I have no extender keys, which is not true since I've had a working MVP for over a year.

In addition, only one of my four tuners is working now. The R5000 will not tune anything (no signal) and my 2 Wintv USB PVR's are not working (just get a white screen). The only thing working is the Cat's Eye 150.

I'm so glad (sarcasm) I paid the 2 day shipping on the extender so it can sit and look pretty while I sort the rest of this out.

Fortunately I have been using Sage since 1.4 and know that once I get this all sorted out I'll love it again.
