Homemade formats doesn't seems to work

I was testing HD extender on some movies I have shot with my digital camera or camcorder and not a single one of them played.

Following formats do not play. HD Extender shows progress bar as it is playing them, but the screen is black. The regular placeshifter on Windows XP box plays at least some of them (I checked only some).

XXX.MOV shot by Pentax Optio WR33
Format Quicktime[MJPEG 320x240@15fps, PCM_U8/63Kbps@7.8kHz eng]
XX.MOV shot by Pentax Optio WR43 & Pentax Opti W30
Format: Quicktime[MJPEG 640x480@30fs, PCM_U8/65Kbps@7.8Hz eng]

Exact copy (basically just a digital copy from tape to file) of video shot on MiniDV video tapes by Panasonic 3CCD camcorer, Created by Adobe Premiere Elements
AVI[DVVIDEO 480p@30fps, PCM_S16LE/1024Kbps@32kHz Stereo]
AVI[DVVIDEO 480p@30fps, PCM_S16LE/1536Kbps@48kHz Stereo]

Following video has two audio tracks but there is no way to choose which track to play (the second one is commentary). There is also no way to display the subtitles.
Quicktime[H.264 22:9 704x288@24fps, AAC@48kHz 5.1 eng, AAC@48kHz Stereo eng, Subpic:eng]

Also little usability headache, I haven't found a way how to go page down or up in long list of files or go to the end or to the top of the list.

Since you are talking about the imported media browsers... in addition to page up/down mentioned above, you can use the number pad to jump to titles starting with the number's associated letters. Or, the hidden extras allows you to use the number pad to start entering the name of a title & the list will be filtered down to the matching titles for anything those NTE character scan spell.

Thanks a lot, I will definitely try it. BTW, I thought more intuitive would be to use the various FF and Rew buttons on the bottom of the remote, since you use the simple FF and Rev to move between pictures within a slideshow.

You guys completely ROCK. After I installed 6.3.7 and fixed the problem with faac I am able to play all our home movies, both MOV MJPEGs and MiniDV AVIs.

I am still not able to choose the audio track from the Nero created mp4s, but the ability to play the home movies makes me SOOO HAPPY.

Thank you.
