HD Extender - Freezes at main menu
Updated the HD player - once I am at the main screen you cannot select any fields - appears to be totally frozen. If I leave it on the screen saver kicks in fine. The extender license is installed. I went to confirm that I am on 6.3.5 and Help > System Information says SageTV V6.2.8.10. When I try to reinstall 6.3.5 the installation program looks like it believes 6.3.5 is already installed. It seems to me that somehow I am running version 6.2.8.10 instead of 6.3.5 - any ideas?

Same thing happend to me until update of server
I had the same thing until I updated the server to 6.3. I "thought" I was at the right version but when I checked I was still 6.2.x. As soon as I installed the latest update to the server and rebooted the HD Extender the remote and front panel buttons worked.

did you install your previous sage setup to the default menu and did you install the new one to the same place? Just wondering if you have installed to two different places. I backed up my sage install directory, then uninstalled my 6.2 before doing the 6.3 install.

Thanks for the recommendations! I removed and reinstalled Sage and now the menu works fine on the extender. The System Software version still shows version 6.2.8.150 however. I am using the composite video (until Christmas) and there is a black box around the video playing. The aspect button cycles through the display settings but never changes the display. Any ideas? Doug

Reloaded the server and extender again and aspect works fine now. Right now down to Purevideo not coming up on the main screen - Grrrr!!!! Time to test the extender in detail now. Thanks for the help! Doug
