Funny, I upgraded to Nero 8 and encoded to AVC\AAC and I get audio through S\PDIF. GSpot tells me that the file encoded with Nero 7 is the same as the one encoded in Nero 8, but there must be some difference. You can also encode to AC3 in Nero 8, with both AVC & MPEG4, but when I tried it I got no sound through the extender. I've sent all my sample files to support.
