Thanks to Jaminben for the use of your graphics.

Nice. Did you get rid of your reflections as the original imovies? + this one have the option of having the center movie as the focal?

OMFG!!! WOW! <speechless> Wonder how the transitions (if any) look. Just an ignorant question, what scripting or programing language are they using? I know some talented devs are creating similar stuff but is there a limit what the devs can do due to software or studio? See the Tilt on the Life on Mars, is that the way the actual pic is or did the software/hardware turn it?

Yep the Phoenix api is looking very cool, especially the image api's. Can't wait to see what Mike makes these things do.

You guys on the inside are such a tease. Just throwing out off the cuff comments here and there but never showing anything substantial.

Looking forward to an new UI.

Not me, all my comments are based from publicly available information. You just have to know where to look. I hope I'm not speaking out of turn and if I'am then please say so.

Its probably best to be a little in the dark though, then you don't get frustrated with what you have.

IF you are in the dark, the light will be that much brighter when it comes.

Phoenix will burn like the sun.

iMovies look and feel is very customizable. This is a new layout that I am working on. All of the previous layouts are still available. I am always going to do my best to keep backwards compatibility of older layout files. I have just added a few new options.

1. Fanart backgrounds
2. Media Icons
3. User Rating

Anyone can release a new layout to iMovies. All they have to do is customize to their liking, export the settings from the options menu, and post on the forums. All of my layouts were created using the HD200 and the remote control.

Got a little more progress for you guys to look at. I added three panel objects which can be placed anywhere. I also allowed the icons to be placed passed the screen to have the reflections overflow the canvas. Let me know what you guys think.

Now you're talking!
For me personally I would like to put the title in the upper panel and get rid of the middle panel all together. Looks like there is plenty of room for the title no matter what the length. (Hope that's an option)

Looking really good! Even if it stayed just like this, I'd be very happy with it.

I know it's still a work in progress, so my nit-picking might be far too early. But, the stars seem to be taking up an awful lot of screen real estate. Also, while I agree that the title needs to be on a background, it might look better if it was shaded like the covers background just below it. The two different shades seem... distracting? The only other thing I'm thinking is that the media icons (watched, h.264, etc.) and the stars might look good on the sides of the title. A long title might cause issues with that, though. My primary reason for thinking this is to not--needlessly--block additional portions of the fanart. Maybe it's just because you're blocking Angelina.

Again, Almost 100% customizable. It is like the main screen. Almost all items can me moved, scaled, hidden... Just to give you an idea of how customizable it is I just threw together this theme in 10 mins using my remote, just unit testing the code.

It is a single movie screen scroll left or right to go thru the movie list.

That looks great.

Is there an info screen or movie details screenshot?

No... I have been using Jaminbens AMIS. iMovies uses what ever screen is defined in the SageMC properties. I have been focusing only on movie listing, and not the detailed screen.

JVL looking good. It is funny how active we both are right now and how different are apps are I love the options in yours but mine will never have all of that customization as it is allot of keep up with coding

Question for you what kind of speed are you getting scrolling through eight on the bottom? Is there animations or not when changing?

Just curious what kind of performance you were getting. Mine was really bad until I got the new scaling/caching of fanart down.
