Does anyone know if you can use the composite input source on a PVR-150, PVR-250, etc. with a convertor box and use it as a second tuner?

In other words, would you be able to record 2 shows at once using both the antenna/cable input and RCA input at the same time?

Thanks

You can use multiple inputs, as long as the channels don't overlap, but you can only record 1 thing at a time because those cards only have 1 encoder. You would need a dual tuner card to record 2 shows at the same time.

Andy,
Maybe I misunderstood your reply, but how do you tell Sage that channel A uses the cable tuner and channel B uses the composite input? I thought that the input was defined on a per-tuner basis?

Thanks,

Setup video sources. All your tuners are there whether you defined them already ready or not. Pick it again and define it as composite.

Go through source setup again for the other input type. Each input type for the same tuner/encoder will need to use a different channel lineup and no channels can be shared between the lineups, so disable the ones that are shared or the previous source will be removed.

Wow, thanks! I didn't even know this was possible.
