I understand how you feel, I've been there. Get ready to type in that order as soon as you see it in stock. Then comes the tracking the shipment, exciting. Takes all of few minutes to connect and start enjoying. I retired my 400 DVD changers.

DOH. My dumba$$ ordered the HD Extender that came with Sage Media Center for Windows even though I already have the software and license. I noticed the price was $250 when I checked out but I assumed they jacked the price up because of the demand. I rushed through my order because I didnt wanna risk not being able to get one.I sent them an email..hopefully they will refund the difference and void the license key they sent me since I dont need it. If not...well..I still get an HD extender and I'll let AMEX deal with it. Eitherway, I cant wait. I recently retired my ReplayTV and have been so sad to not have my shows available in my bedroom...

12:15am EST - Order #29750

Looks like these things are selling really well... I had to get one now before they're all sold out again. Funny enough, I just bought an ATI HD 3650 earlier today from Newegg to deal with the main client PC.... heheh.. Now I'll be H.264 ready.. everywhere

I just did a little dance in my office here. Just ordered two plus a license. So $446 for me. Course Gmail was acting weird last night, and I couldn't get in. So I ordered this morning.

I wonder how many orders they are flooded with right now lol.

Same here. I just got a 750GB HD from newegg (evil email deals ), now I just need to move everything over to my old P4 2.8Ghz since it has a better MB with more SATA ports and relocate it to my media closet instead of my living room.

Haven't taken the plunge on WHS yet though, just can't bring myself to drop another $160 on it when I can get by with XP Pro well enough, and it's money that can be used for an HD-PVR which is why I got an extender to begin with

woohoo!

Now, the really important question: Does anyone know if we'll get tracking numbers, so I can watch my HD100's journey to my grubby paws?

My F5 key will never be the same, but oh well...

Cmon - the questions have moved from "when will they be available" to this? Whats next...."does anyone know if they will be shipped with bubble wrap or popcorn?"

Finally! My order # is 29762 (I dunno why my order number is smaller than some other people who ordered before I did at 10 AM EST?). I've been waiting since the beginning of April myself after deciding that SageTV + the HD extender would be a better DVR in the long run than a TiVo HD. Now I'll have to pick which kind of computer I want to run the SageTV software on (I have a couple of laptops but one is too old and the other is for work only). I hope I won't lose any important features if I go with Linux instead of Windows (crosses fingers - I especially need closed captions to work).

Order #29861 Date: 05/16/2008 08:50:44 PDT

Now to tell the missus. My replayTVs have been acting up, so maybe she'll be okay with this. Otherwise, I'll be selling it soon.

Happy to oblige. But to answer himay's question, the order page says they use UPS so they can now send tracking info. My guess is they will email you when it ships. Hopefully they will ship today, but with this volume who knows...
