Appreciate the advice Gerry. It makes sense to try that. Since I opted for purchasing the complete 6.3 rather than purchasing the upgrade, it may not be a bad idea to start with a clean slate. I just dread doing the core setup and then customizing everything thereafter from scratch. Being that I am already on the 6.3 platform, I could reuse my existing WIN.BIZ file if I choose to install from scratch. I am wondering if my problems are due to the fact that when 6.0 came out last year, I installed it on this same computer to evaluate but quickly uninstalled when I realized it wasn't ready for prime time. When I installed 6.3 this past weekend, my intention again was to evaluate it before purchasing however since Sage detected previous 6.0 installation, the trial period expired and that is when I decided to take the plunge and just spend the money on the full version key.

Reuse your wiz.bin for your favorites, watch history, etc. I can do a core setup in about 10 minutes. 2 x nVidia Dual tuners and a HDHR. There's a plugin that allows you to load multiple plugin imports in one pass, thus simplifying the re-import of all the plugins you are using after a reinstall or during development

Couldn't I just use the customized SAGE3.XML that I am currently using as long as I copy over my JARS directory from my current installation?

You could now. But when the next version comes out this will help you load them all in the new default SageTV3.xml.

Yep. Deleting the sagetv.properties file and setting up from scratch fixed the problem. I am very impressed by how the MVP works in 6.3. 5.04 was good but a little sluggish. This little box is real snappy now. Very happy Thanks for your help
