DVD Play back cause sage to bomb out

I thought i would take a break from messing with the tv section to get my xml data back, and try to play a dvd.

I put in a dvd, selected the drive in setup left everything else at default, and put sage to sleep, then reactivated it and tried to play a dvd, this causes sage to repeadedly exit.

I also tried changing the decoder to sonic from intervideo this cause it to ask to send an error mesg?

Any ideas?

Does intervideo support dvd?

Dan

Are you sleeping Sage or quiting and restarting when you change the decoders? Ctrl-Z to sleep. Intervideo from Hauppague does NOT support DVD play.

The Hauppauge Intervideo decoder does not support encrypted DVD. Basically any DVD that has not been ripped to HD first.
